“I can go on vacation and be successful!”
Next week I’ll be in Atlanta. We’re driving there and back (twelve hours each way), and will be house-hunting with my daughter and future son-in-law.
I’m scared to death.
I’m worried about my workouts, without my Curves.
I’m worried about getting my steps in every day, while traveling.
I’m worried about all the times we’ll have to eat out, since we’re staying in a hotel for the entire week.
I’m worried about fitting my snacks in and keeping my metabolism up.
I’m worried about not seeing my coach every day (we don’t meet every day, but she’s there at my Curves to answer any question I have, anytime).
But I can do this.
My awesome coach talked me through it. She reminded me that I can do it if I have a plan, so together we made a plan.
I will work out in the hotel weight room every morning for a half an hour.
I will jog in place every chance I get, every rest stop break.
I will keep my “on the go” list in my purse and I will not deviate from it. I will not.
I will pack almonds, protein bars, fruits and vegetables in my purse and car.
I will call my Curves if I really need my coach.
I’ll let you know how it goes when I get back. I can do this.
