“I have all the tools I need to put food in its place: a means of maintaining my health and energy!”

Hi, Mary Mills here, from Daytona Beach, Florida.

I’ve lost a total of 17.5 pounds and a total of 11 inches.

One of the videos from last week encouraged us to reflect. I’m two-thirds of the way through this phase and as I assess where I am, I’m feeling pleased.

The exercise routine is becoming just that–a routine! I’ve learned what appropriate portions are, as well as becoming aware of cues, especially emotional cues, that can trigger unplanned eating. All the tools I need to put me in control of my life and allow me to plan for a lasting change.

Now, I’m feeling cautiously optimistic. With practice and the support of my Curves team, I know that I will eventually put food in its place–a means of maintaining my health and energy.
